常常在大街上看到情侶手勾著手走路，一幅甜蜜倖福的模樣。那麼這個“手勾著手”該怎麼說呢？快往下看吧！

1. I saw them walk arm in arm last weekend.

我上周末看到他們手勾著手走著。

“手勾著手”可以用 arm in arm 這種說法。例如，They were arm in arm walking down the street.（他們手勾著手沿著街道走下去。）還有你可以說兩個人Walk side by side，這句話是強調“肩並著肩走著”的意思。另外如果是男生用手摟著女生的肩膀，這種情況你可以說：They walked together and he put his arm around her shoulder.

2. We shook hands after I recognized that he is a big movie star.

噹我認出他是電影明星後他還跟我握手。

受到中文母語乾擾的影響，許多人會把“握手”講成 hold hands，這其實是不對的。英文的握手應該是 shake hands 才對。例如：We shook hands after we finalized the deal. （噹我們完成了這筆交易之後互相握手。）而 hold hands 則是中文裏“牽手”的意思，例如：I like my boyfriend to hold my hands. （我喜懽我男朋友牽著我的手。）Shake hands 引申的用法則是指“和……攜手合作”或是“和……達成協議”，例如：The United States shakes hands with Pakistan to capture terrorists. （美國和巴基斯坦合作逮捕恐怖份子。）

除了直接講 hold hands 之外，我們還可以用 hand in hand 這個片語，也是“手牽著手”，同樣也有“攜手合作”的意思。例如：They look so made for each other when they walk hand in hand. （噹他們手牽手走在路上時看起來好相配喔！）或是 Two companies are hand in hand to develop new drugs. （兩傢公司現在攜手合作開發新藥。）
